Dan Raposa

Bio: Dan Raposa is a seasoned advancement executive and philanthropic strategist with more than 35 years of experience strengthening nonprofit, healthcare, education, and community organizations. As Principal of KROY Associates for nearly three decades, he has partnered with institutions such as Northeastern University, the University of New England, Life Flight of Maine, Plymouth State University, and numerous regional nonprofits to build sustainable advancement programs and mission-aligned philanthropic growth. His leadership spans fundraising, major gifts, advancement strategy, donor relations, and community engagement, as well as secondary private school management—including athletics, enrollment management, and governance. Dan most recently served as Vice President and Executive Director of the Lighthouse Credit Union Foundation, where he expanded community impact in food security, affordable housing, and education support while deepening donor engagement and building signature programs. His earlier career includes senior development roles at Exeter Health Resources, the WDH Health Foundation, York Hospital, St. Thomas Aquinas High School, and the University of Maine. A first-generation college graduate of the University of New Hampshire, Dan holds a BS, MPA, and CAGS in Educational Leadership and is known for his relationship-centered approach, strategic insight, and passionate belief in “people helping people.”
