Bio: Dan Stoutamire, MS, is the founder and CEO of BlackRidge Institute, a leadership facilitator, and a retired U.S. Air Force Command Chief Master Sergeant who helps leaders and organizations strengthen performance, build effective partnerships, develop talent, and bring greater structure to complex environments. With 29 years of military leadership and an extensive healthcare career, Dan brings a distinctive ability to connect strategy, people, operations, and execution. He served as Command Chief Master Sergeant of the 624th Regional Support Group at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, leading the enlisted force of nearly 700 Airmen across six geographically separated units, went on to serve with the 940th Air Refueling Wing, and completed his career as the Individual Mobilization Augmentee to the Command Chief of First Air Force. Across his career, he led and supported more than 10,000 personnel, developed more than 20 senior leaders for executive roles, and helped raise organizational engagement from 37% to 89%. In healthcare and medical technology, he held leadership roles across clinical operations, technology adoption, education, strategic growth, and multi-site program leadership. Dan holds an M.S. in Strategic Leadership and conducts applied research on leadership readiness, role transitions, and the organizational conditions that determine whether development carries into the work. Through BlackRidge Institute, he helps organizations support people at the moment leadership gets hardest: when a strong performer is promoted to lead others. A servant leader at heart, Dan believes there is potential in everyone, that every person has been given a gift, and that the leader's job is to help them use it in service of others.
