Bio: Dr. Ayanna Rashida Cummings is an organizational change strategist, leadership consultant, educator, researcher, and Owner and CEO of Tapestry Consulting, LLC, where she helps organizations navigate transformation, strengthen culture, develop people, and align workforce strategy with business goals. With more than 15 years of experience spanning organizational change, human resources, leadership development, culture transformation, training, and research, Ayanna has worked across corporate, public sector, education, technology, infrastructure, food and beverage, and community-based environments. She previously served as Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Justice for Compass Group National Accounts, supporting a workforce of more than 6,000 employees and partnering with major organizations including Microsoft, Bank of America, Intel, Amazon, Boeing, Raytheon, Delta, and Verizon. Her work has included executive advising, organizational assessments, employee engagement, leadership development, workforce readiness, talent strategy, supplier development, and large-scale cultural transformation. Ayanna is also an experienced psychology professor and researcher whose work has explored leadership, decision-making, workplace culture, artificial intelligence, fairness, and human behavior. She currently serves as Chief Enterprise Administrator of AgriEmpower, LLC, advancing collaboration and innovation addressing food access, health equity, economic opportunity, and sustainable community development.
