Bio: Dr. Karlesha G. Pondexter is an executive leadership consultant, executive coach, organizational development consultant, facilitator, and coach educator who helps leaders and organizations strengthen leadership capability, employee engagement, team effectiveness, and organizational performance. With more than 20 years of experience in leadership development and organizational effectiveness, Karlesha has coached and developed leaders at every level, from frontline managers to senior executives. During her extensive career with Verizon, she led enterprise learning, performance, customer experience, and global diversity and inclusion initiatives supporting more than 100,000 employees worldwide, including leadership development programs, executive coaching strategies, and culture transformation efforts. She also established Verizon’s first enterprise virtual learning organization and designed leadership development experiences that strengthened coaching, engagement, and organizational effectiveness. Today, Karlesha also serves as an Executive and Organizational Development Coaching Instructor and Mentor Coach, preparing coaches to support leaders navigating change, executive presence, stakeholder relationships, team effectiveness, and organizational complexity. Known for creating high-trust learning environments, she blends executive coaching, emotional intelligence, systems thinking, psychological safety, and practical leadership development to help leaders increase self-awareness, strengthen relationships, and translate insight into sustainable action.
